CHINA - Nanjing I

Nanjing é uma das cidades mais importantes da China, tendo sido sua capital antes de Pequim. Esta zona da China mais perto de Shanghai é caracterizada por aldeias e cidades muito relacionadas com o rio, conhecidas como as 'Venezas do Oriente'. Visitei-a numa das melhores alturas, dias antes do Ano Novo Chinês em 2010, o ano do coelho, altura em que a cidade está toda enfeitada com luzes.

Nanjing is one of the most important cities of China, had been its capital before Beijing. This area of China , closer to Shanghai is known for villages and cities very related to the river, known as 'Venices of the Orient'. I've visited it in one of the best times, days before the Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit, when the city was all garnished with lights.

Estou de volta disto agora! Tenho centenas de fotos de Nanjing. Foi uma viagem lindíssima em vésperas de Ano Novo Chinês (Ano do Coelho 2010). Um verdadeiro festival das luzes! Em breve publico!

Neste fim de semana Lisboa abriu as portas com o evento Lisboa Open House, integrado na Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa. Mais de 50 edifícios estiveram abertos com visitas gratuitas. Foi uma grande oportunidade para ter acesso a esdifícios que normalmente estão fechados ao público. No meu caso tive a sorte de ter a perspectiva de guia no sábado e de visitante no domingo! Foi um óptimo fim de semana!

This weekend Lisbon opened its doors with the event Lisboa Open House, part of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale. More than 50 buildings were open for visits free of charge. It was a great opportunity to have access to buildins that are normally closed to the public. In my case I was lucky to have the perspective of a guide on saturday and of a visitor on sunday. It was a great weekend!

Ao rever todas estas fotos da China que tenho posto no blog recentemente, deu-me vontade de pintar um pouco. Ontem passei algum tempo ao ar livre a fazer marcadores de livros e o resultado foi este!

Reviewing all this pictures from China that I've been posting in the blog recently, I felt like painting a little bit. Yesterday I spent some time outside making bookmarks and this was the result!
